I guess it had to happen sooner or later...

Poor Will has his first cold right now. I thought I was going to maybe get lucky and dodge the whole sickness thing until he was in preschool... Naive, I know :) It's just so sad watching him having such a hard time breathing. Plus it doesn't help that he acts like I'm trying to kill him when I use the nose suction thingy on him haha
Here's to hoping he gets better soon! I hate so so much seeing my little guy suffer!

Today is the year anniversary of the death of my grandma. She was one of the most amazing women I've ever known. Always the epitome of grace and beauty, she was one of my first examples of what it means to be a lady. She was intelligent, beautiful, and kind, and the definition of the perfect grandma.
I remember Norwegian waffles and cookies on Sunday visits to her house. And how she would always dote on us and give us hugs. I will always miss her, but I am just so grateful that I was able to be her granddaughter for the time she was here. I love you, grandma

This is the last picture I have with grandma a week or so before she passed away. I'm so grateful I got the chance to spend time with her in her last days.

It was so fun bringing Will to the park today. He was a little overwhelmed to smile for the camera though... seeing as how he rarely ever goes outside :) We took him for a walk, swinging in the swings, and down the slides. It's so exciting that warm weather is finally here!

Growing up so fast

Will recently discovered he has a tongue... now he sticks it out like this all day long. it's really funny to watch him because he's fascinated with it.
These past couple weeks he's had quite the list of achievements!
sits on his own
started to eat solids
learned to self feed
pulls himself up to standing
added several consonants to his vocabulary
and uses toys to help himself walk

I can't believe how quickly he's growing up! Before I know it, he's going to be talking and walking... where did all the time go??
